We have English and French Bulldog puppies available for Placement homes!

What is a placement home?

In order to continue breeding, it is not possible for us to keep every puppy into adulthood and beyond. It is important to us to limit the number of dogs we keep in our home. Making the decision for us to place one of our dogs in a placement home is tough, as they are a part of our family. However, I feel that the placement home provides a great family home for our puppies.

To be a good breeder of quality dogs, however, we need to keep, evaluate and add quality bloodlines to our breeding program. We like to keep first pick of the litter from time to time.

The family receives a quality, top pick dog for their forever pet.  I will board the dog or free while you vacation, I pay for all health testing .    I am able to give the puppies a permanent one on one family that he/she will retire with.  I am also able to improve the breed by using only the dogs with the best genetics.  The best part is that the dog lives in a home as a spoiled pet and gets lots of attention.

We will place a puppy that we would like to continue breeding with into a family home. After passing pre-breeding health tests, the dog will enter our breeding program and come back to us to whelp a litter of puppies. This is a way that our adult dogs can be a part of a family. Once the dog has whelped and raised her litter, she will return to the placement family. After the contract has been fulfilled, the dog will be spayed/neutered and placed in the placement family's home. Ownership will be transferred to the placement family.

Is there a cost for a placement Home?

The purchase cost of the puppy is waived. We include a puppy kit. All breeding related costs and testing are our cost. You are required to pay for yearly vaccinations/ Flee, heartworm, tic medications etc. When the contract has been fulfilled, we will pay for your dog to be spayed/neutered.

How many litters will my dog have?

Our female puppies are generally under contract for a maximum of 3- 4 litters. The males are in the placement home program until they are 5-6 years old. For the males, the dog will have to be available to us for breeding at certain times of the year. He can either visit us for a short time of the day or we can keep him here for a few days.

Requirements of the Placement Family

We do prefer that there is a stay at home parent, home office, or that the dog is able to go to work with you. However that is just a preference. If you are not sure if your family qualifies, just send us an email and we will get back to you asap.

All her vet needs should be taken to Brookville Veterinary Clinc.
